Please join us for our upcoming live webinar on July 25th at 10:00 AM PT.
“The Science of Dialogue: Patient-centered Value Assessment” will be presented by Associate Director Suepattra May-Slater, PhD, MPH, a medical anthropologist, and Scientific Advisor Katharine Batt, MD, an oncologist/hematologist.
Common methods to elicit the patient’s perspective, such as focus groups and surveys, are familiar in the context of market research, but patient-centered research is capable of much more. This webinar will provide an in-depth discussion about how multidisciplinary patient engagement approaches can be a key component of HEOR strategies and economic value assessments. Webinar participants will:
- Understand the variety of qualitative and quantitative approaches available to conduct patient-centered research in HEOR
- Hear from Dr. Batt about the importance of patient-centricity in care delivery and treatment choice
- Hear from Dr. May-Slater about how the insights gained from primary patient research can be used to shape value propositions
- Learn how qualitative methods can be integrated with quantitative methods in customized approaches to assess economic value
A live Q&A session led by Drs. May-Slater and Batt will follow the presentation.
