Earlier this year Jereon Jansen and Shannon Cope hosted a webinar on Evidence Synthesis Challenges and Solutions for Health Economic Modeling. We will be hosting another webinar in September on A Novel Method to Improve Validity and Relevance Of Indirect Comparisons and Network Meta-Analysis.
We have a few exciting announcements from our team. For the third consecutive year, Jason Shafrin’s blog, Healthcare Economist, has been listed as one of the Top 100 Economics Blogs by Intelligent Economist. Jason is continually producing impactful research. Jason teamed up with us last month to write a perspective in the Journal of Clinical Pathways, COVID-19 Pandemic Vindicates the ISPOR Value Flower, discussing the right price for a new treatment for COVID-19 and why the “value flower” provides a helpful framework to consider how to value treatments which have a transformational impact on the lives of not only of patients, but also caregivers, employers, and broader society. In addition, Jason and Meena Venkatachalam were featured in Health Affairs for their blog post Creating Incentives To Narrow The Gap In Health Outcomes: Expanding Value Assessment To Incorporate Health Inequality.
