Greetings,
We are in the heart of summer, and many of us are taking this opportunity to travel, relax and reconnect with friends and family we haven’t seen for quite some time. We are very grateful for these small but meaningful milestones. We further want to thank you, our clients and collaborators, for your continued engagement and support, despite the many challenges we have all continued to face these many months.
Despite taking a few moment to catch our breath, there are many exciting updates regarding upcoming events, some recently-completed work, our continued thought leadership, and new resources now available to you we would like to share!
On September 21st at 11:00am EDT, Sajjad Raza and Naomi Sacks will be joining Scientist.com and HealthEconomics.com Editor-in-Chief, Patti Peeples for the panel discussion series, Cutting Edge Conversations. This live round-table discussion will focus on biotech market access and the importance of early evidence development. We are expecting a very lively discussion! To register for this event, please click here.
Throughout the first half of the year, we have engaged in a number of exciting conferences, presentations, and webinars – all of which you can still access through on-demand services:
- Virtual ISPOR 2021 was a great success. Across Precision, we presented 22 posters, panels, and workshops. A full collection of presented work can be found here.
- Hopefully you joined us at the end of July for our modeling webinar featuring Anuj Mubayi and Ross Maclean, Methodological Borrowing versus Conceptual Blending: Reengineering Health Economics Processes with Modeling and Simulations. If not, you can use the same link above to register and view the webinar on-demand. Please feel free to share this link with co-workers as well!
- In addition, we are pleased to share additional collaborations across Precision with you:
- On-demand: We supported an insightful recent webinar on Oncology Care in a Value-Based World
- On-demand: We also supported an excellent panel webinar featuring payer and policy experts from across our industry: The Future of Reimbursement for Cell & Gene Therapies
Lastly, we want to recognize team members Kyi-Sin Than, Kelly Birch, Jacki Chou, Jim Baumgardner, and Kenneth Ching, who recently collaborated with the Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance (S&PAA) on a recently-released report: The Societal Costs of Schizophrenia & Related Disorders. This eye-opening report quantifies the overwhelming societal costs of schizophrenia in the United States – $281.8 billion in 2020 – and should spark a shift in the healthcare landscape to improve care for those living with schizophrenia. We are extremely proud of our team’s work!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to talk to any of our team members about your challenges and priorities for the remainder of 2021!
Sincerely,–
The PRECISIONheor Team
